New Beauty Secret

Hi everyone! Today I wanna share with you my newest beauty secret. Since I was a little girl my mom always told me to wash my face really well at night and to never go to bed with makeup on. So about 5 years ago I decided to buy the Clarisonic Mia, I got it in the US since in Italy it was not sold yet. You can read a post about my Clarisonic here. I really love it and I have used it a lot. Problem is when I entered my 30s I noticed a difference in my skin, it is definitely more sensitive and prone to redness. The brush of the Clarisonic was too harsh, even though I have the blue brush, the most delicate one. About one month ago I read about a new device, Foreo Luna, that promised to be more delicate on sensitive skin, so I decided to give it a try. After using it for about a month I can give you my opinion. I got the pink one for sensitive skin and it really is very delicate, it doesn't irritate my skin, but it cleans it very well.

Here are the pros:
- in one minute the skin is clean and soft
- it is really light and the brush is very delicate
- it's made of silicone, easier to clean and dries faster
- the massage function is really nice
- one charge lasts ages
- it didn't make me break out
- it's a bit expensive but you will never have to buy replacement brushes
- you can choose the intensity of the vibrations

The cons: the nose area is kinda difficult to clean well because of its shape.

Directions:
Remove all your makeup
Wash your face with warm water and put your favorite cleansing lotion on your face (mine is La Roche Posay Toleriane), wash the Luna and turn it on, clean your face with it spending 15 seconds on each area (forehead, left cheek, right cheek, nose/chin). It will vibrate every 15 seconds so that you know you have to switch to another area.

Then dry your face, put on your favorite moisturizer/lotion (mine is Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair), and turn the Luna on the massage function. Spend 12 seconds on each area (between the brows, each eye side, both sides of the mouth).

Now you can turn it off and wash it with soap and warm water. You can use it twice a day, it will not irritate your skin.

I'm very satisfied with it! Do you have it? What is your opinion? Let me know what kind of cleansing tool you use.

Love, Fede

Perfect Lips

Ciao! Winter is over finally and my lips have survived the cold weather thanks to this great lip balm from Eos. When I was younger I didn't even need lip balm, now if I don't use it everyday (multiple times a day) my lips are literally burning. I don't know if it's a matter of age, or I'm just more sensible to the cold, but I can't go out without it in my bag. A couple years ago I was in the US and at Target I saw this product. I loved the shape and the flavors I could choose from. So I got many of them because in Italy it's impossible to find. Last august in Hawaii I bought it again. I also found a UK beauty website that sells it and ships in Europe for free, it's called BeautyBay!
Have a great day!

Night Beauty Essentials

Happy hump day Girls! Hope your week is going great! Today I wanna show you a new product I just got. On my bday I got a Sephora gift card as a present, I know, I'm a lucky girl. I spent days thinking what I could possibly get, and finally, considering my skin's needs (I'm in my early 30s) and the excellent reviews that I read online, I decided to get Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair. It's a serum you put on before bed and before your usual night cream, and after using it for a few weeks I can say that my skin is looking better and more radiant in the morning.

I'm not gonna lie, this product is great but it's expensive, and I probably wouldn't be able to buy it if it wasn't for the gift card. So as an alternative I can suggest a very good and more affordable night cream from Sephora that I've been using for a few months and works very well with my skin (I have combination skin). It's Sephora's Total Age Defy Night Cream.

I'm also thinking about buying a good eye cream but have no idea what to get, do you have any suggestion for me? Thank you!
Love, Fede

Beautiful Skin

Hi everyone! I'm 33 so I really have to start taking good care of my skin. I was looking for a good anti-age night cream but didn't want to spend too much money. A friend of mine told me that Sephora makes good face creams so I decided to give it a try. I went for the Age Defy Night Moisture Cream by Sephora Collection, it's just 30 dollars. It's a rich night cream, but it absorbs easily, it's non-comedogenic and it has no sulfates nor parabens. The next morning my skin looks bright! See it for yourself!
Thanks for reading, Xoxo

Beauty Routine (Clarisonic Mia)

Hello everyone and happy Monday! This is my last week at work, I'm happy! Can't wait to go on vacation. But it's important to go on vacation with perfect skin so this is my beauty routine with one of my favorite products: Clarisonic Mia. I bought it from their online shop 4 years ago and now I couldn't be without it. I got the pink Mia with the free engraving, and I use it with the delicate (the blue one) brush for very delicate skin. Initially I used it every day, now once/twice a week is enough for me. I use it with La Roche Posay Toleriane Dermo Cleanser which is a great product for sensitive skin like mine. I remove my eye and face makeup before using the Clarisonic, and after the Clarisonic I use Lierac Initiatic, a very good moisturizing and anti-wrinkle cream. Remember to always clean the brush after every use. It’s really like getting a facial, I love it, and it’s important to take good care of our skin.
