Happy Halloween! (Pumpkin Cake Recipe)

Happy Halloween everyone!!! I made a pumpkin cake and brought it to the office!  Do you like the decoration I made on the cake? Also I wanna show you my look ;), I wore my new favorite shoes and a faux leather skirt that I adore.

Here is the recipe:

2 cups flour (256 gr)

2 teaspoons baking powder

2 teaspoons cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

4 eggs

300 gr sugar

150 ml oil

1 can (15oz) pumpkin

Directions:

Sift dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt & soda) and set aside. In a large bowl, combine eggs, sugar, oil and pumpkin until light and fluffy. Add the dry ingredients, gradually. Mix well.

Spread batter in a greased 15x10x1 baking pan. Bake at 350 F degrees (180 C) for 35 – 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool completely.

Office Look

Hi! I want to share today's look with you. The skirt is very elegant, it's a date-night kind of skirt, but if worn with boots and a cardigan it can be perfect as a day look. What do you think? The manicure is Halloween inspired :)

Beautiful Skin

Hi everyone! I'm 33 so I really have to start taking good care of my skin. I was looking for a good anti-age night cream but didn't want to spend too much money. A friend of mine told me that Sephora makes good face creams so I decided to give it a try. I went for the Age Defy Night Moisture Cream by Sephora Collection, it's just 30 dollars. It's a rich night cream, but it absorbs easily, it's non-comedogenic and it has no sulfates nor parabens. The next morning my skin looks bright! See it for yourself!

DIY Mani with Essie In Stitches

Ciao! I love to do my own mani from time to time. This time I chose a color that is good for fall because it's not too summery but it's still bright and fun. It's Essie In Stitches, do you like it as much as I do? It lasts a Whole week if I put on a base and top coat.

Boots for Fall and Winter

Last fall I decided I desperately needed a pair of classic black boots by Ralph Lauren. They are so beautiful and so classy, I've worn them so much last fall and winter and now that the weather is getting colder here in Milan I can't wait to wear them again. I think everyone should own a pair of leather boots, they go with everything and give a special touch to every outfit. Hope you like my Ralph Lauren boots, they don't make the exact same pair anymore but they make similar style like this one. Thanks for reading!
