Healthy Living: Benefits of Almonds

It's been a few days since a friend of mine told me to eat almonds daily because they are so good for your health. So I went to the store and bought 2 packs of raw natural almonds, one for home and one for the office. I also surfed the internet to search for the benefits of this yummy nuts and this is what I found:
- They reduce heart attack risk
- They lower ‘bad’ cholesterol
- They protects artery walls from damage
- Almonds help build strong bones and teeth because they contain phosphorus and calcium
- They provide healthy fats and aid in weight loss
- Almonds lower the rise in blood sugar and insulin after meals
- They help provide good brain function
 - They alkalize the body
- They are good for your skin because of vitamin E
- Their peel contain al least 20 different anti-oxidants
I'm eating 5 almonds in the morning with my breakfast and 5 during the day, like mid-morning when I'm feeling hungry. I suggest not to eat more than 10 per day.
